Privacy policy

Last updated: 16 September 2026

Wenor provides managed staff training to care homes. This policy explains what personal data we hold, why we hold it, and what rights people have over it. It covers both the people who contact us and the staff whose training we manage on behalf of a care home.

Who we are

Wenor, North West England. Contact: team@wenor.co or 07466 382573.

Where a care home engages us to manage its staff training, that care home is the data controller for its staff's data and Wenor acts as a data processor on its instructions. For enquiries made directly to us, we are the controller.

What we collect

When you enquire: your name, care home, email address, phone number if you give it, and anything you choose to tell us about your training arrangements.

When we manage training for a home: staff names, work email addresses, job roles, course enrolments, completion dates, expiry dates and certificates.

We do not collect special category data. We do not ask for or store health information, personal addresses, dates of birth, or payroll details.

Why we hold it

Our lawful basis is legitimate interests for enquiries, and performance of a contract for training we manage on a home's behalf.

Who we share it with

Staff training data is held on the learning platform operated by our accredited training partner, who acts as a sub-processor. Course certificates are issued through that platform. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are required to by law.

How long we keep it

Training records are kept for as long as we provide the service to a care home, and for six months after it ends so records can be retrieved if needed. Enquiries that do not become clients are deleted within twelve months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask what personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. Where the data relates to staff at a care home we work with, please raise the request with that home in the first instance and we will support them in answering it.

To make a request, email team@wenor.co. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies, tracking pixels or analytics. Nothing is stored on your device when you visit.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of the page and notify any care homes we work with directly.
