Terms of service
Last updated: 16 September 2026
These terms apply to the managed training service Wenor provides to care homes. They are written to be read, not to be waded through. If anything is unclear, ask us before signing up.
What we provide
- Enrolment of your staff on accredited online training courses appropriate to their roles
- Tracking of completions and expiry dates across your team
- Reminders to staff before training lapses
- A monthly training report covering your whole team
- Adding and removing staff as your team changes, within your agreed staff band
What we do not provide
We do not deliver face-to-face or practical training, and we do not carry out competency assessments. Where a topic requires hands-on assessment — moving and handling people is the common example — that remains your responsibility. We can record those sessions in your training matrix so your records stay complete.
We are not an awarding body. Courses are produced and accredited by our training partner. We are not a regulator and we do not certify compliance; responsibility for meeting CQC requirements remains with you as the registered provider.
Fees and payment
Our fee is a fixed monthly amount based on your staff band, agreed before the service starts. Course licences are included; there is no separate charge per course or per new starter within your band. If your staff numbers move you into a different band, we will tell you before the fee changes.
Invoices are issued monthly in advance and payable within 14 days.
Cancelling
The service is month to month. There is no minimum term and no notice period. Tell us you want to stop and we will end the service at the close of your current paid month.
Founding client pricing is held for twelve months from the date your service starts, provided the service runs continuously.
Your records
Your training records belong to you. If you leave, we will export your full training matrix and all staff certificates and send them to you before your access ends, at no charge.
Your responsibilities
- Providing an accurate staff list and telling us when people join or leave
- Giving staff the time and access they need to complete their training
- Making sure the email addresses you give us are ones your staff actually use
Liability
We will provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We are not liable for the outcome of any inspection, for regulatory action taken against you, or for losses arising from inaccurate information supplied to us. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Data protection
How we handle personal data is set out in our privacy policy. Where we manage training for your home, you are the data controller and we act as your processor.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will give you at least 30 days' notice. If you do not accept the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
